Our Commitment

At Ivanooo, we believe in delivering accurate, unbiased, and transparent course ratings to help learners make informed decisions about their education. Ivanooograde is a meticulously designed system, built on a foundation of cognitive science and learning theory, with the core goal of promoting skill mastery.

Our grading system integrates Stanislas Dehaene’s four pillars of learning—Attention, Active Engagement, Error Feedback, and Consolidation—alongside leading theories in learning design. This ensures that every course is thoroughly evaluated for its capacity to foster real-world, applicable skills, rather than just delivering information.

Our Guiding Principles:

  • Objectivity: Free from advertisements, sponsorships, and institutional affiliations, our ratings are based on thorough, independent research.
  • Skill Mastery Focus: We prioritize courses that help learners acquire and master skills. Hands-on projects, real-world application, and effective feedback mechanisms are key elements we evaluate.
  • Comprehensive Analysis: Each course is evaluated across five critical pillars: Skills, Trainers, Delivery Methods, Career Assistance, and Student Satisfaction.

1. Skills (30 Points)

The Foundation of Any Course

Skills form the core of our evaluation. Courses that emphasize hands-on learning, practical experience, and real-world application score the highest.

  • Depth and Breadth of Topics (10 points): We evaluate whether the course covers a comprehensive range of essential topics within the field, balancing both theoretical and practical knowledge.
  • Case Studies (6 points): Courses that use real-world case studies to contextualize learning and help students apply skills in practical scenarios are prioritized.
  • Tools (4 points): We assess whether the course teaches industry-standard tools that are essential for career success.
  • Capstone Projects (10 points): Capstone projects are critical for learners to consolidate and apply their skills in real-world situations.

2. Trainers (20 Points)

Who is Delivering the Course?

The quality of the trainers plays a key role in the effectiveness of any course. We assess their qualifications, experience, and ability to facilitate learning.

  • Academic and Industry Experience (7 points): We evaluate whether the trainers have a strong combination of academic credentials and practical experience.
  • Teaching Experience (6 points): We evaluate the trainers' ability to convey complex information, engage students, and enhance the learning process.
  • Industry Recognition (7 points): We look at whether the trainers have received any industry recognition, such as awards or published papers.

3. Delivery Methods (30 Points)

How Is the Course Delivered?

Our delivery methods criteria focus on how well a course uses various modalities to promote learning and skill mastery.

  • Live Interaction (6 points): We evaluate whether the course provides live lectures, Q&A sessions, and opportunities for real-time interaction.
  • Self-Paced Learning (6 points): Courses that offer flexibility in scheduling and pacing score highly.
  • Assessment (6 points): We assess the variety and quality of assessments (quizzes, assignments, projects) used to measure learner progress.
  • Community (6 points): We examine whether the course provides platforms for peer-to-peer interaction.
  • Collaborative Learning (6 points): Courses that promote group projects, peer review, and other forms of collaborative learning score highly.
  • Feedback & Improvement (5 points): We evaluate the quality and frequency of feedback provided to learners.

4. Career Assistance (15 Points)

Supporting Learners Beyond the Classroom

  • Mentoring Programs (5 points): We assess whether the course offers structured mentorship from industry professionals.
  • Career Services (5 points): We evaluate the quality of career services provided.
  • Alumni Networks (5 points): We assess the strength of the course’s alumni network.

5. Student Satisfaction and Feedback (5 Points)

What Do Learners Say?

We gather reviews from multiple platforms to gauge student satisfaction and the overall learning experience.

  • Diverse Feedback Sources (5 points): We prioritize real-world testimonials and feedback, evaluating both qualitative and quantitative responses.

Data Collection and Review Process:

  1. Curriculum Review: We begin by analyzing the course syllabus, structure, and materials.
  2. Student Feedback: We review testimonials from trusted platforms.
  3. Teaching Methods Evaluation: We assess how well the course employs diverse teaching methods.
  4. Industry Relevance: We evaluate how well the course aligns with current industry standards.

Alumni Polling Methodology

Comprehensive, Science-Backed, and Transparent

Alumni Polling Methodology

Harnessing the power of blockchain technology to collect invaluable alumni feedback, creating the second layer of our platform. By combining this feedback with the first layer's grades, we effectively eliminate bias from the system.

Current System: First-Touch Poll Outcome Surveys

Our platform currently gathers feedback from learners who complete professional certificate courses through a first-touch outcome survey. This captures immediate feedback about:

  • Skill Application: Whether the skills learned are being applied in their current role.
  • Job Placement: Whether the course helped secure a new job or promotion.
  • Satisfaction: How satisfied learners are with the course content and its relevance to their career.

While this first-touch feedback provides early insights, it’s clear that the full impact of the course may not be felt until later in the learner’s career.

Future Vision: Multi-Touch Attribution Outcome Surveys with Enhanced Accuracy

We’re transitioning to a multi-touch attribution model to track both immediate and long-term outcomes. This will provide a comprehensive view of how courses impact career trajectories over time.
